Virgil's talent is not something he was born with, rather, it was thrust upon him during his childhood. His parents did their best to shape him into what they thought would be a perfect ruler. They had taught and lectured him Virgil had to step up and take responsibility now that his father has fallen ill. Sure enough, the small country that he rules over has become the closest thing to a utopia that the earth has. Ethnicity/Home:
Unknown/Unknown. As successful as his country is, no one seems to have heard of it. Extra Features:
-He is missing his left arm.
It was amputated after an accident he had when he was young. Whenever he is asked about it. he simply says "Piano." He wears a cape to cover up the stump as he finds it hideous and undesirable. Weapon:
Virgil is, in short, a spoiled brat. Even with the harsh lessons delivered to him by his parents, he is still used to getting his way and it angers him when he doesn't. He tends to put others down in an effort to remind himself of his status, as he often thinks poorly of himself. Despite all this, Virgil is an exceptional leader. He has a very clear sense of right and wrong and will always act for the greater good of the majority. However, he does not take to following someone else. He recognizes that he doesn't act the way he should and is thoroughly disgusted by himself. Likes:
-Sweet and expensive food
-Winning/Getting his way
-People who do not listen and/or direct attention to themselves.
-Foreigners (He isn't outright racist. He just distrusts them until they prove that they can be trusted.)
-Sports (He used to enjoy them but losing an arm really ruins your throw, man) Additional Info:
-He can speak fluent japanese, english, and french.
-His native language is unknown.
-He is very insecure about his handicap.
-He used to be left-handed. He has really bad handwriting now. History/Family:
Virgil was born to the king and queen of a small, island country off the coast of Europe. One could describe his childhood as both cruel and comfort-filled at the same time. Regarding his status as heir to a kingdom, his parents made sure that their son would note only keep the country going, but help it excel past all competition. They forced him to mature too quickly. Although having a lot of the joys of childhood taken away from him, he was spoiled rotten. Virgil usually got whatever he wanted. This was how his parents justified treating him the way that they did.
Unfortunately, tragedy struck in his late teens. His father had fallen ill and the country's economy took a nose dive. It was time for Virgil to utilize all that he had learned and save the country. To everyone's surprise, he handled the issue like a professional. The economy quickly recovered and the kingdom emerged better that he had been before. He had been ruling for several years at the time he was invited to Hope's Peak. He took up the offer. RP Sample: Virgil stood in awe of the school building in front of him. It was nearly as lavish as his home; a feat that is not easily achieved. The Prince looked down at the invitation in his hand. He had read it countless times already. It never changed. He had been invited to this school because of his 'talent.' Honestly, Virgil had no clue how this school even heard of him. His homeland is not known to many outside of its borders. It truly was curious. However, Virgil had no plans of declining this invitation, no matter how suspicious it was. It could easily be his last chance to experience high school. He had never actually attended a school before. All education he received prior to this was from his parents. Not to say that they were poor teachers, (quite the contrary in fact) but he wanted to know what an actual classroom felt like. Without a second thought, Virgil crumpled up the invitation and shoved it in his pocket. He pushed open the door to the curious academy.
He could have never predicted the outcome.
